The weather forecast was calling for 1-3" of snow, no prob. we were prepared to handle that. The problem was we got approx. 16". To make a long story short, we were stranded and had to leave 2 trucks and 3 snowmobiles on the mountain!!! Hopefully this weekend we will be able to get in there to recover all the equipment.
A beautiful sunrise on the Kaibab with a couple of inches of snow in the foreground. Jim and Russ are shoveling snow trying to get Arlis' truck out. Russ loading the snowmobiles, trying to beat the snow storm. Even after shoveling snow for 4-5 hrs., Russ is all smiles...gotta love the positive attitude. No Buffalo yet, but making some great memories!
